What We Can Learn From the Games Industry
Today's children are growing up in a world where being online is becoming essential whether it be to access educational content or to play the latest online game. While existing in a digital world has its advantages, risk of harm is significant and growing and as a result keeping children safe online is the top of most Governments' agendas. Although organisations are keen to ensure safe online environments for future generations, there are an increasing number of compliance challenges which organisations are struggling to overcome in a way that does not adversely affect user experience and ultimately user engagement.
Join experts in regulatory law from the United States and the United Kingdom as they discuss some of the challenges of keeping children safe in an online world As the games industry is often at the forefront of technological and societal change - as well as being firmly in the crosshairs of regulators around the world - we have selected it as a case study to share practical examples of how to tackle these issues.
